Help to Buy event gives advice
Tue, 02 Jul 2013

A Help to Buy open evening will take place from 17:00 to 21:00 on July 4th that aims to highlight how prospective house owners can take advantage of the generous government-backed scheme.
The programme offers purchasers the ability to procure a property for 80 per cent of its full price with a five per cent deposit and a 20 per cent loan.
Experts will be on hand at the evening and this event shows just how popular the scheme is among both buyers and sellers.
Stacy Dornan, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, the company behind the Etling View development, said: "This incredible shared equity scheme puts homeownership within reach of those who might have thought that they wouldn’t qualify for a mortgage, or that they would have to save for a deposit for years."
While customers cannot currently apply for a Help to Buy loan, as the scheme does not start until January 1st 2014, those who want to use it can start making arrangements for a home purchase now.
